One herbal solution I find most women are unaware of, is natural breast oil.

Using various herbal and essential oils to massage into the breast tissue can help stimulate lymphatic drainage and regulate inflammation.

At the store, we carry the St-Francis Mastos Breast Oil which is specifically formulated for this concept.  Though I have used the mastos oil, I often make my
own home remedy using simply lemongrass essential oil  in a base of fractionated coconut oil through a roller-bottle delivery.

Michelle Porter, our store’s Aromatherapist, recommends the following DIY recipe:
You will need:
–  1 roller bottle
–  A carrier oil – Michelle suggests almond for this blend.
–  5 drops Geranium essential oil
–  5 drops  Clary Sage essential oil

–  5 drops Lavender essential oil

You can massage an oil combination like this a few times per week or even daily (if needed).

Another healthy breast topical solution involves applying castor oil (an anti-inflammatory bean) packs once per week for the same purposes as above. The castor oil, carried through the heat, will drive the essential oils deeper into the tissues. A post on this topic will be coming in the near future. In the meantime, feel free to ask us in-store.
