Need a healthy yet sinfully delicious treat? THIS is it!

This smoothie is brimming with antioxidants from the cherries and the cocoa powder and has a hefty dose of natural fiber from the dates.  It’s also well balanced with protein & natural fats from the almond butter and will keep you feeling fuller, longer.


  • 8 oz coconut (or almond) milk
  • 1 medjool date (pitted) *we always find it easier to blend the date with the milk first
  • 1tbsp almond butter
  • 2 cups frozen pitted cherries
  • 1 scoop (or ½ scoop) fermented vegan chocolate protein (you can use vanilla fermented vegan protein powder and just add 1tsp raw cocoa)

Combine all and blend! If the smoothie is too thick, add a couple more oz of nut milk…or eat as an “ice cream”. YUM!
